HARRY SIGHTING
Los Angeles Times writer and FOTEV Scott Martelle dropped me the following line yesterday morning:
"just bought your book -- Border's at South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa. Does that make me the first to plunk down dollars and have a copy in hand?"
As far as I know it does. Reports (and cell phone photos) of any sightings in the wild are welcome, even though Tuesday remains the official release date. And if you don't see the book, please do consider asking them to stock it.

The lucky bastard! No stores around here, Borders, B&N, nor indies, had it as of today - though their computers all do show it as coming soon.

Seen it at Borders in Pasadena, on Lake Blvd.

MOTEV reports it at the Bayside B&N, though no word yet on whether she plans to buy a copy ...

No sign of it at the Strand, so apparently the reviewers are hanging on to their copies!

I went into another Borders in Costa Mesa (Triangle Square)and they didn't have it yet. They did have the new Trisha Yearwood cookbook. I hear Ms. Yearwood is big in Texas, especially the Dallas area.

I´ll try to drop by The Raven this afternoon. I´ll let you know what I find out.
For those of you who haven´t visited yet, swing by Sarvas Park ... SO excited!

Just got my notice that Amazon had shipped my order. Yes 'Harry' is on it (along with a couple of cookbooks one of which may or may not be authored by Trisha Yearwood who I have confirmed is very popular in the Dallas area). For the record, I pre-ordered it the day TEV posted that it could be pre-ordered (that's 'Harry' not the Trisha Yearwood cookbook).
Congratulations my friend.
