The library of William "Bill" Adams, late of Edinburgh, has yielded an unexpected fortune.
Hundreds of books from his library – he died last June aged 84 – were sold for £150,000, £50,000 over the estimate. One of his two nieces was there to watch his rare books go under the hammer at Bonhams in Edinburgh.
That's all I'm doing ... buying books for a rainy day.
Honey, the guy DIED before the books were sold for big bucks....I hope you're not trying to tell me something as we await yet another shipment of 'em to arrive?!?
