There's an online chat today with Hari Kunzru, if you're interested.
After leaving Oxford in 1991, he headed for London, full of dreams. But, the bitter truth struck him and the 'golden ticket' of Oxford didn't really work.In his own words, "I got out of Oxford first and thought that everybody would go 'Come to me. Come inside. You should be editing The Guardian!' And it totally wasn't like that ... You come out into the real world and you find out that you're a speck."
Personally, we've always wondered just what sort of person thinks these kind of things are cool or worth doing. I mean, we're early adopters and stuff, but the prospect of sitting around in our shorts watching (mostly banal and poorly punctuated) questions scroll by pretty much kills what little remains of our soul. But we have been accused of being overdramatic.
