It's scarcely literary news but J.M. Coetzee is embroiled in a lawsuit with his home builders.
Professor Coetzee, regarded as one of world's greatest living writers, and a building company are being sued by two subcontractors for $15,403.30 in outstanding payments.Adelaide Magistrates Court documents show subcontractors Richard Tremain and Sharon Dulac have been unable to recover the money from Norwood-based Tagara Builders and now are also attempting to claim it from Professor Coetzee.
