J.K. Rowling has advised her fans who are being bullied to speak up about it.
"Tell someone, whether it is your mom, dad, aunt, uncle, a teacher, a brother, a sister, an adult friend, just tell someone," she wrote. "If the first person you tell doesn't seem to understand how bad the problem is, tell someone."
Now, having been bulled ourselves, we think this is questionable advice, admirable in sentiment, impractical in practice. After all, it might result in a temporary abeyance but once the label of "snitch" is earned, future wrath seems likely. Our advice is kick the fucker in the nuts and then run like hell.
Which should probably explain a lot.
Or hit them upside the head with your hardback "Order of the Phoenix" and I promise you, they won't get up for a week.
