How chuffed are we to find ourselves included as part of the Guardian's list of top ten literary blogs? The last time anyone considered us "essential," we were hunched over the toilet with a plunger in hand, so things are surely looking up.

I haven't looked at the article yet, but one of the great virtues of your blog is that it represents the West Coast, and especially L.A., with seriousness, integrity and fun. Surely that's one of the reasons you were recognized. Congrats!
