I've had a blast being your co-pilot for the day, and I thank you for all of your kind and supportive comments. I think TEV is a real oasis of civility, which is refreshing in these often overly snark-ridden times. You've earned a tab on my bookmarks bar, and I hope to visit back often.
On to the Aural Stimulation contest: I knew the judging would be highly subjective, but I had no idea how many excellent suggestions I would receive. I can't wait to check out some of your favorite selections. So keeping in mind that you're all winners (no, really, you are), I'm going to go with Bud Parr's answer, based on the fact that he posted the longest entry, and then posted again ten minutes later with more favorites that he had forgotten the first time (I like that kind of commitment). Bud wasn't afraid to admit that he goes for the classics: Bach, Handel, and Mozart, with some Glass and Steve Reich thrown in for variety. Bud will win a signed first edition trade paperback of The Trouble Boy, which I'm sure he will cherish for years to come.
Anyway, I'm bookmarking your comments page and looking forward to doing a little surfing on iTunes. You all inspire me.
Okay, enough of the mutual-admiration society. I have to go out to dinner with my parents, and I wouldn't want them to think that I'm happy or something.
