Today's Banville post is hours away.
Unfortunately, our ambitious plans were cut short by a world-class case of food poisoning that took us down hard Wednesday night. We had no idea the body could revolt so totally, so rudely. We've been largely bed-ridden since then, so we didn't accomplish nearly as much as we'd hoped. And we missed our weekend ride to boot. Still, although we did not make our page goal, we're back on track at last, and hope to bring this novel to a speedily conclusion.
At any rate, we're doing some final proofreading on the latest installment of our John Banville interview - which receives some (inaccurate) notice in this week's issue of The Week - and then we're off to commence our birthday festivities. Thanks to all who have sent along wishes, and extra special thanks for Karen Palmer for the bang-up job she did here Friday.
Back in a few hours. Until then, do stop by the Litblog Co-op where we've unveiled the first of our new blogger dialogues on our nominated titles. Should be nice, clean fun for the whole family.
