We love L.A. to the depths of our black little souls but every now and then a New York literary event comes along that makes us rue the day we crossed the country. There's one of those coming up: Frederic Tuten and Paul LaFarge will be discussing Tintin, including a reading from Tuten's absolutely lovely Tintin in the New World, newly reissued by Imprint Books with an updated introduction by LaFarge (available online courtesy of The Believer).
Thundering typhoons, don't miss this one. We're begging for an onsite report.
