Simone de Beauvoir has been honored (presumably for putting up with JP) at the 16th International Book Fair in Argentina.
An illustrious group of Argentinean writers, Maria Negroni, Tununa Mercado, Cristina Mucci, Luisa Valenzuela and Liliana Heer, gathered at the table to speak about literature and feminism.
Heer told Prensa Latina of the continuing validity of the essay "The Second Sex," by Beauvoir, and said "she is still alive in us, because of her initiation and feminist book."
