We're finally knuckling down, pressing ahead with our revisions which means that postings will be a bit erratic in the weeks ahead. The more you see here, the more we're procrastinating. But on days like today, where things actually threaten to move along nicely, posts may take on a more omnibus feeling. To that end, we're sharing some worthy links to new and/or interesting sites that we've been saving up for just such an occasion. Enjoy:
Check out Habitus, which we think is just oustanding, and which includes a contribution from Aleksandar Hemon (We meant to talk about the debut issue - which focused on Hungary - but never got organized; we'll be back to discuss these guys more.) ... The new issue of LOST magazine ... Claire Bidwell Smith's award-winning Life In LA ... Blogging for justice at Witness LA ... We haven't waded into Goodreads but we're all for social networking ... The Continental Review, a"video forum" for poets, is now online ... Move over Rilke, MJ Rose is running Letter to an MFA (presumably the "young" is redundant) ... Colleen Mondor at Chasing Ray is doing something remarkable with the Summer Blog Blast Tour ... and, finally, not literary but fun: the worst 007gadgets. (Thanks to FOTEV Sean S, who writes "I’d have to add my favorite…from Octopussy, the auto-rising rope. It’s not easy keeping it up." We assume Eddie Izzard's "jam trousers" don't qualify.)
The worst 007 gadget was clearly Timothy Dalton.
