We're pleased to report that last night's Swink reading was an all-around success. A crowd of about 50-60 descended on Tangiers and were treated to a hilarious excerpt from Mishna Wolff's forthcoming memoir I'm Down; a raunchy but beautifully written chapter from Ann Cummins's novel Yellow Cake; and our own offering from Harry, Revised which, we're happy to inform you, seemed to go over quite well, indeed. Callie has the details.
We hope Swink online will host more of these convivial literary evenings. Thanks to all who attended, old friends and new. We're a bit behind this morning, as you might imagine, but we'll have a few literary posts up before too long. Or not. You know the drill.
Until then, note the absence of the US in the list of countries in contention at the International Kids Lit Quiz.
