... I'm going to be interviewed on blogtalkradio today ... and there's even a call-in number if you want to say hi.

In his recent TEV guest review of Home Land, Jim Ruland called Sam Lipsyte the "funniest writer of his generation," and we're quite inclined to agree. We tore through Home Land in two joyful sittings and can't remember the last time we've laughed so hard. Lipsyte's constellation of oddly sympathetic losers is rendered with a sparkling, inspired prose style that's sent us off in search of all his prior work. In Lewis Miner's (a.k.a Teabag) woeful epistolary dispatches to his high school alumni newsletter ("I did not pan out."), we find an anti-hero for the age. Highly, highly recommended.
Have fun!

Apologies Mark, but the interview was cut right off after my co-host tonight, a poet, introduced himself. Just listened to the archived show and the audio was fine, as opposed to last week's show which I had to re-air 3 times - a skype glitch of such enormity, for the first time in 2 years.
Yes, skype is to blame but my computer's a healthy PC, tonight.
I know you've a busy schedule and again my apologies but a very interesting discussion even if just heard by myself and the poet, my co-host tonight.
Thanks again,
Colleen

I'm sorry to hear you had a problem with Skype - it sounds like the timing couldn't have been worse.
You may find our call quality guide useful, but please let me know if you get recurring dropped calls.

Coll
